The TROOPER 2.1 cricket bat is from the CAVALRY RANGE and handcrafted from the Grade 2 (preferably seconds in Grade 2) English Willow and features Full Spine (Mid-Swell) profile with spine extending to the bottom of the blade rounding into the toe further maximizing the sweet spot with great rebound quality and nicely balanced for the players who are aggressive and like to dominate bowling.

*** GRADE 2.1 BLADE: A Grade 2.1 blade has some amount of red wood and can be seen on the edge of the blade but it has no impact on the playing ability of the wood, it just has less visual attraction. There will be a minimum of 5 grains on the face of the blade which may not always be perfectly straight. Also, some small knots or stain may be present along with some “speck”. Overall these cosmetics does not impact on the performance of the willow. Finally as a manufacturer we ensure that every willow is treated accordingly to achieve the desired profile by overall maintaining the balance/pickup and the performance of the bat.
